The regions of the South West have an awesome range of accommodation. UDRH SW offers free accommodation at ECU Village for those with placements in Bunbury or reimbursement for stays at commercial accommodation in the outer South West.
If you book through providers like Airbnb, hotels, or caravan parks, you may need to pay upfront, with reimbursement after placement completion.
ECU Village Accommodation - Bunbury
If you're preparing for a rural placement in Bunbury and the outer South West regions, you may be eligible for accommodation at the ECU Village Bunbury or in Health Service staff quarters. These options let you connect with other health students and professionals, giving you access to communal facilities like kitchens, TV rooms, and laundries. UDRH SW will contact you when your placement registration is complete to help you decide on the most suitable accommodation.
Commercial Accommodation - Outer South West
Accommodation reimbursements cover the duration of your placement, allowing check-in the day before and check-out the day after. UDRH SW will email you a Clinical Placement Support Payment claim form based on your individual circumstances. You will need to complete this form and provide supporting documents, including your accommodation invoice and return to us by email to UDRH SW.
