Research

We aim to make a significant contribution to the South West by conducting impactful research activities and fostering engagement in research across our region. This will involve streamlined expansion of rural networks, facilitation of research collaborations, research mentoring of students and early career researchers, and establishment of partnerships to promote the profile of South West-based researchers as rural health research leaders nationally.

How do I become a researcher?

The UDRH SW aims to empower local clinicians to develop their research skills by working with them to grow their research capabilities.

I want to connect with other South West researchers

If you would like to find out more and/or connect with South West based researchers, simply reach out to us at udrhsw@ecu.edu.au

What research is the UDRH SW involved in?

We support a variety of research projects in the South West region that are health-focused. We also collaborate on national projects funded by competitive grant schemes.

Acknowledging traditional custodians

We acknowledge and pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People

lands where our staff and students live, learn and work. We acknowledge the strength and resilience of our First Nations people and endeavour to work together for the benefit of all.
