Welcoming Rebecca Colbung to UDRH SW

The University Department of Rural Health South West (UDRH SW) is thrilled to welcome Rebecca (Bec) Colbung to our team.

Bec joins us in the newly created position of Lecturer Indigenous Knowledges. A Bardi woman with family roots in the Ardyaloon community on the Dampier Peninsula, Bec has lived on Noongar boodja land her entire life. She brings a deep, personal understanding of the regional landscape and the complexities of working within regional and remote health sectors.

With experience as a primary school teacher and a background working within Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs), Bec is uniquely positioned to bridge the gap between education and health outcomes.

We are proud to have Bec’s expertise and leadership within our team. Please join us in welcoming her to the UDRH SW community.
