As a sponsor of Children’s University in the South West, UDRH SW staff were proud to attend last week’s graduation of 67 primary school students from across the south west including City of Bunbury, Shire of Harvey and the Shire of Capel.

The program, which sees students attend a number of ‘learning destinations’ across the region, promotes lifelong learning, provides diverse learning opportunities and gets children thinking about university possibilities at an early age. Student numbers doubled this year and the program continues to expand.

“The enthusiasm of the children and their families was wonderful to see, and their participation in the ECU graduation parade in Bunbury made it all the more special and significant” UDRH SW Director Professor Armstrong said of Saturday’s event.
